I made this cake for a very special person. Ted, who recently turned 80 years old, makes two trips per year to Africa where he digs wells and helps purify water for the people. Last year he became an honorary Chief of a tribe that he has spent much of his time with. Ted is clearly loved by all those around him. Happy Birthday Ted! This cake had two tiers of chocolate devils food cake with raspberry and chocolate buttercream and vanilla bean cake with dark chocolate buttercream.
